Our goal at Preferred Family Dentistry is not only to provide you with the best dental care but more importantly, comfortable treatment. We understand dentistry isn’t the most anticipated procedure so our staff is ready to help you relax. Our treatment rooms are fully equipped with the latest in dental technology and for your entertainment, a flat screen television with a ceiling mount.
All new patients are requested to complete a packet which includes medical history, treatment consent forms, office policies and notification forms, as well as a personal evaluation. By law, our office is required to copy your state identification or driver’s license card.
Your initial visit consists of a complete series of intra-oral x-rays, a comprehensive examination, and once completed, your diagnosed hygiene appointment may be fulfilled during the same appointment.
Prior to all new patient appointments, we like to have your approximate treatment estimate available. Providing insurance information will allow us to obtain the most recent dental fee schedules from your carrier and coverage percentages. Please keep in mind, the only sure way to acquire exact co-payment information will be through treatment pre-authorization, which can delay treatment for four to six weeks.
We are always happy to welcome new patients and emergency appointments.
For our more anxious patients, we simply prescribe a pill one hour prior to your appointment to help you relax.
